Biography
Hello, my name is Tashi and l was born on March 28th 2000. I was brought to BCH with other children because there was no Tibetan school in my village. I am the youngest of six children and it is very difficult for my parents to feed and care for us all that is why I as the smallest was sent away to BCH for better living facilities and to learn at school. I have three brothers and two sisters. My father is a woodman and my mother tries to look after all us children.
Now l am happy to be a child of BCH. Everyone at BCH takes proper care of me and l have many friends, who l play with. I like doing mathematics at school.

The Bon Children's Home
The Bon Children's Home, Dolanji, India is a non-profit making institution providing boarding facilities for poor and needy childrent, whose parents are in exile. Most of the children are orphans or semi-orphans. The chidren receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The institution fully depends on charitable donations to provide for their future and the future of Tibet.
