Sponsor An Ecuadorian Child - Susana Montaño Zúñiga

On May 9, 2007 Susan's mother came to the Foundation because she has no place to live. She has three other children and is in her final month of pregnancy. Ana Maria shows signs of mental illness, she does not know the birth dates of her children and said that her husband works far away. The children are not enrolled and have never been to school. It is difficult to have a dialogue with her. Subsequent research has found that the father of Susanna died on May 15, 2007. The children were admitted to the Refuge Centre. All have parasites. Susana has tuberculosis. She does not pronounce words well so she requires care in a speech therapy centre. She has never been to school and needs the attention of a pulmonologist.

The Love a Child Foundation is a non-profit making organisation helping to provide boarding facilities and schooling for poor and needy children, most are orphans or semi-orphans. They receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The Charity has a board of trustees and publishes an annual report and accounts in the spring of each year.
