Hello my name is Pema and l come from Tsarka Village in Nepal, where my grandparents settled after they had to leave Tibet when the Chinese invaded my country.  Now we live as refugees in Nepal but we are very poor as my parents only have very small farming rights and it is very difficult to make enough money to feed all the family; l have two older sisters and a younger brother. My parents send me to Bon Children’s Home so l can have a good education but it is very far from my home.  I am studying in class one

The Love a Child Foundation is a non-profit making organisation helping to provide boarding facilities and schooling for poor and needy children, most are orphans or semi-orphans. They receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The Charity has a board of trustees and publishes an annual report and accounts in the spring of each year.
