Biography

I am eight year old Nyima Yangzom and I need a sponsor so that all Tibetan children can be at school and learn to read and write Tibetan in the Bon tradition. Last year l was in Kindergarten and now l am studying in class one and was the lucky child as my parents chose me to go to BCH for my education.  We are a big family as l have five brothers and four sisters.  We are a very poor family and my parents find it very hard to feed us all.  Sometimes we only have one rice meal a day.  My grandfather tells me stories about life in my country and one day l would like to return to Tibet. I like to play games with my new friends at BCH and study hard at school.

The ´Love a Child´ Foundation is a non-profit makeing organisation helping to provide boarding facilities and schooling for poor and needy children, most are orphans or semi-orphans. They receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The Charity has a board of trustees and publishes an annual report and accounts in the spring of each year.
