My name is Bo Bo and I am thirteen years old. I have a twin brother and an older sister. My Father U Aye Win and my Mother Daw Amar Sein are farmers and my family lived in the Phonegyikone Waevillage, Mawkywne Township, Ayeyarwady Division but we were made homeless by the Nargis Cyclone. We lost all our possessions in the cyclone and had nowhere to live. My parents could not feed all the family so the monks took me to Phaung Daw Oo and I am now in Class three. I enjoy writing, listening to stories and football. When I grow up I want to be able to support my family.

The Love a Child Foundation is a non-profit making organisation helping to provide boarding facilities and schooling for poor and needy children, most are orphans or semi-orphans. They receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The Charity has a board of trustees and publishes an annual report and accounts in the spring of each year.
