New sponsors are urgently needed. The current cost for sponsoring a child for one year is Euros 324.00 (£270.00) at current exchange rates.
You can sponsor a child online via PayPal, sending us money via your credit card or PayPal account (you don´t need to have an account with PayPal to send us your sponsorship or donation). It is a simple process.
To sponsor a child for the first year please choose your child from the Tibetan, Burmese or Ecuadorian children pages then click on the "Sponsor / Donate" button and you will be guided through the steps you need to take to send us your sponsorship donation online...
Alternatively you can sponsor a child on a monthly basis by direct debit - please contact us and we will put this in place for you. The cost is 27.00 euros (£22.50) per month.
Apart from sponsoring a child, any contribution however small will be gratefully received and put towards the supply of equipment, clothing and additional food such as fruit, which is currently a luxury but should be a basic and essential part of a child’s diet. In addition general funds are urgently required to build infastructure schemes and refurbish dormitories at all of the children´s homes.
We have details of both boys and girls available for sponsorship - (see the profiles on the childrens pages). In return for your sponsorship you will receive a photograph of your child, a profile and regular updates on the child’s progress. We are particularly keen where possible to promote ties between a sponsor’s family and the sponsored children, thus we can develop communications between children of the same age. One of our future projects is to install computers in the children's homes so that contact between children and sponsor is easier.
Raise money for Love A Child when you shop on line.
If you buy online from companies based in The UK you can now donate a percentage of the value of your purchase to Love A Child through www.easyfundraising.org.uk All you have to do is register on their website and then you can log in and click on Love A Child before you purchase online from all the major UK companies like Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Toys are Us, John Lewis etc.
This costs the purchaser nothing, in fact you may even receive an additional discount and you are also supporting your favourite charity ‘Love A Child.’
