Sponsor A Tibetan Child - Gekho Dakpa Gurung T0151

This is Gekho Dakpa, who was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. Very little is known about his family as he was bought to BCH by a friend of the family.  His father was a labourer and he has four brothers and a sister, but the family is very poor with only the father to support them it was not possible to feed all the family.  Gekho is a quiet child, who keeps a lot to himself, but he likes to play football and his favourite subject at school is Tibetan language.

The Love a Child Foundation is a non-profit making organisation helping to provide boarding facilities and schooling for poor and needy children, most are orphans or semi-orphans. They receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The Charity has a board of trustees and publishes an annual report and accounts in the spring of each year.
